Up until the 20th century scientist thought the universe was eternal, and were very surprised to learn that it had a beginning.
Every living cell has a code inside, which informs the cell of how the organism is to be built. Darwin thought a cell was just a clump of jello. Now we know that a cell is like a small city with its own production units, power plants and logistics. Very good indeed.

Very little is told of what was going on. God had created spiritual beings before creating humankind. A rebellion broke out. Old Jewish texts tell of a powerful spirit that wanted to be like God and was full of pride, so he was cast out of God’s presence. He was looking for an opening for an attack…
“Did God really say…?”
The first humans were lured by a rebel spirit to turn away from the giver of life. According to an ancient Sumerian myth the gods created humans to serve them. This story reveals clearly what the rebellious forces wanted.. They wanted to be like their creator, so they called themselves gods and lied to humans about the origin and purpose of humanity. We are still being lied to about our origin and purpose.
“Cursed is the ground because of you (humans); through painful toil you will eat food from it all the days of your life.” (Genesis 3:17)
All nature is suffering because humans rebelled.
